Cheryl Copage (Co  page )  Gehue  (G Who), Indigenous Community Engagement Advisor, Office of Diversity & Inclusion, Halifax Regional Municipality: Cheryl Gehue is a Mi'kmaw woman from the community of Sipekne'katik ( Sib in acadie) First Nation. Cheryl also serves as an elected council member for her home community. She is also currently employed with the Halifax Regional Municipality as their Indigenous CommunityAdvisor with Office of Diversity & Inclusion. 

Cheryl has championed the work under the Statement of Reconciliation and the Task Force on the Commemoration of Edward Cornwallis and the Recognition and Commemoration of Indigenous History.
