Chris is the Manager of Service Design at Calgary Transit. Calgary Transit employs over 2,800 people delivering fixed-route LRT, bus, specialized transit and On-Demand transit to in a market that is home to over 1.2 million people. The Service Design portfolio includes scheduling, dispatch, fare and non-fare revenue streams, customer service centres, a call centre/web/social media team, and customer-facing technologies.  

Chris was one of authors of the Calgary Transportation Plan, a component of The City’s long range plan for land use and mobility, and Route Ahead, Calgary Transit’s 30-year Strategic Plan. Chris has been with The City of Calgary for 18 years in various roles, including 12 years at Calgary Transit.  Chris also worked for 7 years in Phoenix, Arizona as a consultant with Kimley-Horn, where he led a variety of traffic engineering and transportation planning projects.  

Chris completed a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and a M.Sc. in Transportation Engineering at the University of Alberta.
