Erin Britnell

Director, Corporate Strategy and Innovation
Town of Caledon

Erin Britnell is currently the Director, Corporate Strategy and Innovation for the Town of Caledon. She started in municipal government through the former AMCTO Municipal Management Internship Program at the Niagara Region in 2010, joining the Town of Caledon in 2016. She has held several roles in municipal government over her ten years in the sector ranging from community planning, corporate strategic planning, project management, process improvement, performance measurement, information technology and government relations. She is passionate about continuous improvement, developing high performing teams, coaching staff to help them excel, and helping municipalities to effectively support their residents’ needs and build great communities. Erin holds an Honours BA in Political Science and Certificate in Leadership from the University of Guelph, Graduate Certificate in Public Administration from Humber College and a Masters in Public Administration (Local Government) from Western University. In her free time she is an avid curler, golfer, and recreational softball player, as well as an aspiring piano and guitar player.
