Trinela Cane has been the Commissioner of Corporate Services at the City of Markham, since June 2012.    Her responsibilities include Finance, Information Technology Services, Sustainability and Asset Management, Legislative Services, and Bylaw and Regulatory Services.  
Previously, Trinela was an Assistant Deputy Minister in the Ontario Government in five different ministries, performing a range of roles in the areas of corporate services, policy, operations, information technology, with a focus on change leadership and business transformation.
Trinela has an undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto and a Masters degree in Criminology from the University of Ottawa.
