Wendy Doyle

Wendy Doyle is an Executive Director in the ministry of Transportation in Alberta. Wendy has held several executive roles in her 22-year career in transportation safety. In her current role, she serves as the Executive Director of Carrier and Vehicle Safety since the fall of 2019. This branch is responsible for the oversight of commercial transportation, provincial railways, transportation of dangerous goods, and licenced vehicle inspection technicians and facilities in the province.

Wendy has been involved in the policy process related to automated and connected vehicles since 2014. She currently co-chairs the Automated and Connected Vehicle working group for the Canadian Council of Motor Transport Administrators, and is one of two Canadian members on the AVCV Working Group for the American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators.

Wendy graduated from Lethbridge College with dual diplomas in Criminal Justice - Policing, and has two management certificates from the University of Alberta.
