GET READY FOR INTELLIGENT CITIES USA SUMMIT

For all of us at IoT Events, the vision behind the Intelligent Cities Summit has always been to act as a platform for municipal leaders and tech expert to navigate the future of cities, and we can proudly say that for the last five years we have been successful in living up to our vision and delivering a substantial event for the Canadian audience.

But as the world shrinks, and concerns for cities becoming increasingly global, it is time for us to expand our vision further. Riding high on our success and taking the next step, we are now traversing borders and taking the event to the USA. So, the first edition of the Intelligent Cities Summit USA 2022 will be held on March 29-30, 2022.

The umbrella event will comprise of three content streams

·     Intelligent Cities Summit- focused on discussing how to make our cities intelligent, efficient, and future ready

·     IoT Big Data Healthcare Summit- focused on talking about the role that technology can play in making and sustaining an efficient healthcare system

·     IoT Code Orange Summit- focused on rethinking Emergency Services in contemporary times

Recognising the global uncertainty and moving in sync with the digital world, the event will be a hybrid one, with virtual joining options for both the speakers and the audience.

Across the world, the pandemic has posed numerous challenges for cities-big and small. It has redefined the way we all live, work, travel, and shop, which in turn has forced cities to rethink strategies. As public sector leaders across the world are grappling with this ‘new normal’,what are the concerns and challenges that they face? How has the pandemic redefined liveability? What steps are being taken by the healthcare sector in the USA in terms of lesson learnt from the pandemic? How can technology enhance the response for the Emergency Services?

Michael Shapiro, Chief Privacy Officer, County of Santa Clara; Jordan Sun, Chief Innovation Officer, City of San Jose; Christine Keung, Chief Data Officer, City of San Jose; Leonie van den Beuken, Program Director,Amsterdam Smart City; Christopher Hutchins, VP, Chief Data and Analytics Officer, Northwell Health; Kieran Fahey, Director of Long Term Control Planning, City of South Bend are some of the names which will be a part of the speaking faculty at the event and will provide answers to all such questions.  

Ever since its inception, the Intelligent Cities and the IoT Big Data Healthcare Summits have acted as a platform for prominent voices from various geographical areas to converge and initiate meaningful conversations about all aspects of building and maintaining efficient and intelligent cities and healthcare systems.
