Matt is the Chief Data Officer and Senior Director of Strategy and Performance with Nova Scotia Health. He is also an active member of Dalhousie University’s School of Health Administration serving as a mentor and part time academic. He holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s of Applied Health Services Research from Dalhousie University, is a Certified Health Executive with the Canadian College of Health Leaders and an EXTRA Fellow with Healthcare Excellence Canada. Matthew’s main interests are in organizational strategic planning and development, and furthering the use of evidence-based decision making within healthcare by turning data into actionable insight.
